Introducing: Student Laptop Program at Northfield Campus

New Trier is pleased to offer the Student Laptop Program at the Northfield Campus. This program allows students to bring their personal laptops to school and receive the same type of filtered internet access as on New Trier High School computers. The Program started at the Winnetka campus as a pilot during the 2007-2008 school year. Please refer to the Northfield Participation Agreement for more information.

Welcome to the 2nd Year of the Student Laptop Pilot Program!

We are excited to continue the Student Laptop Pilot program for all Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors this upcoming school year. We received very positive feedback from the students in the program last year and are looking forward to expanding the opportunity this fall. Like last year, we will have Technology Staff available to assist students in setting up their laptops in Lab 377. We welcome you to contribute your thoughts and ideas about the program to this blog.

New Trier High School Student Laptop Pilot Program

The Student Laptop Pilot Program at New Trier has been launched! All Sophomores and Juniors on the Winnetka campus have been invited to voluntarily join this pilot program. Jim Foster, one of our Student Technology Specialists, has been working diligently with students to configure their laptops to allow filtered, internet access at school. We continue to monitor student participation in this pilot and are very excited about the progress so far...and the possibilities to come! We invite your valuable feedback here on this blog.
